This course helps participants understand every aspect of the business case and produce this strategic document to ensure good communications and the success of the project. The course provides numerous exercises using techniques to validate the quality and relevance of each element of the business case and make sure the objectives defined translate into benefits upon the project’s delivery.

  • Documenting the objectives

  • Identifying project contributors (why, how)
  • Hypotheses and constraints
  • Root causes (working on the real problem) 
  • Requirements exploration techniques 
  • Project glossary (abbreviations list)

Educational tools

A course manual containing the training instructor’s presentation and a notebook will be distributed to each participant. A business case template will be distributed to the participants and an electronic version will be made available.
